Out now.
Yeah first ones were just on 8pm local.
we started to watch it but gave up, very disappointing.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
Looking forward to watching episode 3 - tomorrow. Daughter asked to watch it too.

Watched Ep3 this arvo, vast improvement over Ep1-2's clunky dialogue and rather droll Klingons. The addition of Captain Gabriel Lorca(Jason Isaacs) as Mr Multiple Agenda's was a good fit. Only complaint was his fake american accent, always sounds more evil/sinister with a crisp clean english accent. It's a pity Ep1-2 weren't edited to include Ep3.
OK.....E03 definitely has this wagon rolling.
I'm in.

Damager: After the first two episodes I enjoyed the high production values but the acting was sub par and too stiff. I see some positive feedback from episode 3 so will hang in there.
I watched "The Orville" on Duke last night (shame about the hideous amount of ads) ;I quite enjoyed it.
It was like Star Trek with real world problems.
I'm looking forward to the next episode of Orville more than Discovery.

Okay, saw ep 3. Interestingly for an ST show this series looks to be going a bit dark and morally ambiguous. Promising at this stage but time will tell. Lots of plot holes of course but I imagine we'll all keep looking past them at this stage.
I'm just happy to have some good sci-fi on tv with high production quality. I'm setting aside the Star Trek baggage for a while and just watching it as a great looking sci-fi in a sea of crappy Syfy originals. I wish more people could do that instead of being overly critical about the non-Trekness of it. The more people are against it for minor nitpicks, the faster it'll get cancelled, and the less likely we'll see other shows with the same quality being made. This is why we can't have nice things.

I thought pets and kids were why you couldn't have nice things?
