Spark Sport via a Sheild or Bravia Tv. As a fallback, ITV / FTA.

Early rounds are going to be quite interesting with the current abilities/form of the teir 1 nations.

Yes, its an unknown. AB's are hardly in invincible form, how good are the Northern Hemisphere, and the tier 2 nations can throw it all at a game, possibly best opportunity for a while to break through. Minnows may throw in some excellent losses too. I think the retire to make real money option is hurting top level union

World Rugby will offer its own free streaming service for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in markets where broadcast deals are not in place.

With the tournament taking place in Japan from 20th September to 2nd November for the first time ever in Asia, rugby union’s global governing body has outlined its plans to offer the service specifically targeting the continent.

Great, world rugby already do streams of the Rugby 7's . It may even be on the same streams they currently use.

Kayo for me, although I wish Rugbypass had the rights as their condensed versions of past games are brilliant for catching up quickly.

Totally agree about their 10 minute highlights. I could watch what I thought was the game of the weekend and easily catch up on the other games with the 10 minute versions. Now with ESPN+ I watch 1 game in the weekend and watch some 2-5 minute highlights on YouTube, but never feel like I’m following the other games and teams well enough.

As for the rugby World Cup, I’ll be watching on ITV and TVNZ. Otherwise Kayo, if I can get one of my Aussie based relatives to help out.

all NZ can afford the additional costs to to subscribe.

How is that different to any other paid service, e.g. Sky? It costs a lot more to watch it on Sky because you need to sign up for 12 months (or presumably pay some large installation fee), and I wouldn't have bothered, so I'm glad for Spark's offering.
