So, I was going to download a completed game on my iPhone, while watching a game on my PC and it wouldn't let me. It said I could only be logged in on one device at a time. So don't think it's looking good for 'sharing' a membership.

You are only purchasing the rights to watch the game at anyone time on one device. I don't see why people would think they could share. Do you expect to sit on someones lap at a live game if your buy 1 seat?

Sky purchases the rights to screen content on their network, yet we can circumvent this using the magic of "the internet" and pay for Netflix, which I can 'share' the login with friends and they too can access the content....... Wow!!!!

So, it stands to reason that it may well be possible to log into 1 Game Day account on different platforms such as Android & Apple without the two being smart enough to catch people out....

So you are essentially saying that anything that you can do on the internet is ok to do?

If that action does not directly hurt another persons welfare sure... Im saying anything that you can do on the internet, that doesn't directly hurt another persons welfare is ok..

Given that we live in an increasingly Plutocratic world, I don't really have many qualms about my 'wild west' view of the internet.

I really like the 'view condensed game' option. I watched the Broncos v Colts game at 11pm on Monday night in around 35 minutes. You don't get replays etc but you can rewind yourself.

I think you just need to apply some judgement to your actions.. Some people can do that, other maybe not... Here in New Zealand we arent big on allowing common sense, we rather like to regulate and legislate everything under the sun, generally not in the public's best interests but other more powerful entities..

It only moved to a Pay platform in NZ because Americans were using proxy to watch the NFL... Otherwise it would still be free. so...... yeah.

If you can break down the amount lost by sharing an account into a quantifiable number, to an individual person, that isn't already a multimillionaire, I will be impressed..

Something like Team Owner of NY Jets due 5% of league revenue. Game Pass = 0.001% of League Revenue. 1 Account = 0.00001% of Game Pass revenue, shared account 1/2 of 1 account = some stupidly small number that is silly to try and calculate..

It may not affect the team owner but an individual subscriber is probably paying 10% more to cover those who obtain it for free or share the content, much like you add physical theft into overhead for a retail store.

But it comes down to if you are ok with someone using false indenities to rip you off then you can do likewise I guess.

Yep its very good as far as cutting down time it takes, but dont you feel you loose a bit of the action when its just bang bang bang.. No replays no time to take in big plays on 3rd down etc..
You can get though a game really quick but it looses something..

You can get though a game really quick but it looses something..

I agree. It's certainly not my preferred way to watch a game. Handy at 11pm on Monday night after work, uni and antenatal classes though :)
