I had no issues at all the other night and was quite happy with the picture and the motion of the players. No juddering motion...

Tonight watching the Aus v Wal and the motion is awful. Also had issues with the sound at the start. Restarting the stream seemed to fix it.

Watching on the same setup as the other night where it was fine. The only difference is this game will have a lot more viewers which points to capacity issues.

Sound appears to be fine for me, but I'm not happy with replays going on while the game is going on. Probably can't blame Spark for that.

Yup same audio issue here.. Also some interesting camera feed choice.. Just watched the inital drop kick in slowmo 2-3 times while the game was progressing (not sparksports issue just odd)

No issues with motion here, it looks like every other match has been for me.  Sound is sorted now, and picture/motion is good also.

I’ve got spark and kayo, I’ve just compared the two feeds and the kayo feed didn’t have the drop kick slow mo replays. So something went wrong at spark I think.

Sound was well buggered for a while.

I've installed Kodi+Matt's add-on onto a Sony Android TV and so far impressed. I feel it's smoother than directly through the Spark app. Bit sad that to get the best possible quality you basically need to homebrew it. That's not a good outlook for Spark Sport :\

I reckon of a commentator sneezed on air stuff would make a story out of it https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/rugby-world-cup/rwc-2019-japan/116120054/rugby-world-cup-2019-audio-issues-plague-australia-v-wales-match

Noticed they stayed live tonight with the post match celebrations - much better feeling than last night when they cut off Japan's moment.

Australia Wales game had a few sound issues, replays playing whilst game playing (very frustrating but not sure this is a Spark Sport issue) and issues where they zoomed out showing both teams against the green grass looked terrible the entire match. The up-close stuff was good.

Just received:

The Spark Sport streaming platform performed well for the Georgia vs Uruguay and Australia vs Wales matches with audiences peaking at 115,000k for the Australia vs Wales game, making it the second highest audience since the All Blacks vs Springboks match. The Spark Sport platform worked well, as did the New Zealand broadband network.

As previously commented on by TVNZ, at the beginning of the Australia vs Wales game there were some production issues with the audio feed from TVNZ during the first few minutes of the match. However these issues were quickly resolved.

Similar to other recent match days, the Spark Sport Care team helped a small number of customers during the evening with device and set up issues. Customers with any issues are encouraged to get in touch via help.sparksport.co.nz well in advance of the next match they wish to watch.
