Apsattv:

Most complaints seem to relate to Panasonic, LG and using the APP.

With play stalling every few seconds or going into slomo. Where are all the techy people on here? who could be nailing down the issues with wireshark caps etc from the devices and other troubleshooting?

Seems the app itself needs a lot of work in particular recovering from a drop in users bandwidth or adjusting to the abilitys of a users device.

Someone mentioned here that some TVs, or maybe one, had issues changing bitrate. Turn it off then on. Fixed. Thats hardware.

I suspect if you excluded supported devices, there may not be much to find, thats why they are supported.

Your setup I suspect . I'm watching it on my Chromecast and it's perfect.

WiDi sucks for pushing video. Go wired or use something else.

i get what people mean by close up amazing smooth 60fps but when mildly panning on the wide angle it flashes and it's jerky. very weird.

What i've seen on many of the complaints it will play a few seconds then pause then play a few seconds then pause again..

like the users tv hasn't dropped the video profile down to one that  matches their bandwidth better.

This setup is not appropriate for video streaming.

I hope Stuff don't get hold of you or we could read tomorrow how some people had less than perfect streaming experience and it is Spark Sport's fault.

My understanding is that the SFs and GF games are on TVNZ? So...that's the end of anyone actually needing to use Spark Sport?

I don’t know whether this has been discussed earlier here but the SS website FAQ says “You can stream Spark Sport on one device at a time, but you can switch between devices at any time”.

This does not appear to be correct. My brother just told me he had it going on two devices at the same time over the weekend. I just tried it and, sure enough, I can watch RWC on LG TV and on iPad - both at the same time.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
