Not really a moan, but a huge inconvenience compared to my other (but more expensive) provider.
I have asked this question before and was told to ask for a "whatever?" (can't recall exact phrase) ip address as BigPipe do not provide a "static" ip address similar to what I had previously with Telecom.
Put in a request quite a few months ago and it worked well for some time with no changes (or least very few) to my IP address. Now it just seems to change every few days and the kids and missus are driving me nuts saying BBC does not work or Netflix does not work. Yes Yes I know. Unotelly has registered yet another IP address change, but try explaining that to them.
What do I need to do because something is not quite right with this fine service. Are my expectations too high and do I need to go back to Telecom?
Any help appreciated because I did not realise that losing a static IP address could cause so much grief.
