Breathing gives you cancer, the risks of not using toothpaste cause much more serious problems than the chance of cancer :)

"Fluoride is safe"

That's just what they want you to think, so they can keep supplying everyone with the mind control chemicals in our water supplies. tongue-out

Problem is, if you get into a position without logic you can't get out of it with logic.  Therein lies the problem with the tin foilers.

I only need to compare my adult children's teeth with mine. Wish I had the teensy bit of fluoride when I was forming and growing teeth.

These decisions should be in the hands of the Health Dept (if there is such a thing these days!).

And, like joker97, don't start me on immunisation!!

TwoSeven: My preference has always been to brush my teeth properly and leave things like water as pure and natural as possible.  Never really understood why I need to have chemicals in my water just because other people eat too much candy or other such things.

So you'd support the removal of chlorine from the water too?

I know you're joking, but fast food is still unhealthy - loaded with carbs, sugar, and high energy levels. Also the convenience makes it easy to overeat.

It has recently been proven by intense scientific research, fully peer reviewed and confirmed, that everyone who breaths air dies. Forget fluoride....that is some serious issue right there!

Obviously the anti-fluoride camp is now arguing this study was funded by the powers interested in using fluoride in the water.

Please be more specific on who 'they' are?

Are you refering to the majority of people who vote yes in referendums?

Or is it the individual councils around the country who put it in?

It can't be central government, because 'they' don't mandate it, but leave it up to individual communities....

Perhaps it's those dodgy DHB's..... can't trust 'them'... but if that is your view, then make sure next time you have a car crash or something, just ask the ambulance officer to drop you home.... you wouldn't want to go to a hospital, 'they' might put some nasty chemicals in your body and make you better..... and that would be inexcusable.
