Also an Aim fan. I recently bought up the remaining stock at Countdown. I don't want f-ing Colgate to be the only choice left. I get so sick and tired of this corporate BS. Just let people have a little choice.

indeed rikk... I just tried to order 30 from aus and said wont send to NZ lol oh well ebay au for you

so you have AIM original? at your countdown? they only say mint one online and locals.. its not the same

more sticky and sweeter..

I read colgate has a product warning on one site lol maybe fakenews but maybe not

The fact multiple retailers no longer have the product would tend to indicate the manufacturer is potentially removing the product from sale here. Based on that the decision would seem to be one made by the manufacturer and nothing to do with the retailer.

Conmpanies make decisions on products all the time. Many FMCG products don't have an infite lifespan. I'd use my fingers and toes many times over to count the products I've seen in my life that are OK sellers in some areas but manufacturers make decisions to pull due to poor overall sales.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I haven't been able to get the original for years. I'm talking here about the Mint. I don't like it as much, but I have got used to it. Anything is better than Colgate. But it looks like the monopolies here may be phasing that out as well.

Looking at their site Aim is clearly not that big in Australia either - distribution is only at smaller retailers

I dont think we care if its small shops buying it... still the best toothpaste I never get new fillings

just replacing old ones and places of wear.. never had tartar build up

epsc if you clean teeth 5 times a day.. I clean when fury

and even the mint one runs out some months. people that used to get original being forced

to change clearly.

and it dont kill you or affect your hormones

You've clearly never read up about sodium saccharin - Aim is one of the very few toothpastes on the market to contain an artificial sweetener that has a very dubious past.

I'd far prefer Triclosan in my toothpaste (and do use Colgate Total) than that stuff!

you dont eat or swallow it .. I think the mint one is way sweet over original as well

I drink sweetner for 20 years in pepsi max.. still good health never had a flu for just as long

I heard all the bs about sweetners before

you will suffer more from floride in water supply.... go and watch the floride deception docu

Supermarkets etc are not charities. If they are not making money from a product they won't stock it.

anyhow it takes 47 tubes of paste to kill you if swallowed apparently.. lol cant imagine trying to

eat and swallow one .
