I really liked that Overland Down 400 from Mac Pac but I was overruled in favour of this instead, which hopefully, arrives today:
Got it for a crazy deal over labour weekend, under $300.
Reviewed well where ever I looked.

I have to say a good sleeping bag will live with you for a long time - they're worth extra money.
We still use the Kathmandu ones we bought to go on our OE 25-odd years ago. They've been all over the world and back again.
Having a two-zip system, we are able to unzip the feet section and allow airflow when its warmer, which really helps.
Don't even know if Kathmandu make good ones anymore.

Yeah, I mean, we didn't want to spent a grand on sleeping bags that get used 4 times a year at most, with no plans to significantly increase requirements over time, but we certainly didn't go low end either.
I really wanted something a bit lighter, but everything is balance.
The bag I ordered ended up -3 comfort. I can't think of many times I'd need that level of cool :)
