That sounds like it's confounding several things. I know someone who decided at the age of 19 that she didn't want children and had a procedure (I never asked what) to ensure she wouldn't have any, but that had nothing to do with cancer. The fact that "no interest in children" is a factor indicates it was something other than cancer that drove the decision. Or are you saying she had a DNA test, got back an all-clear, and then had a hysterectomy for no reason?
I am saying I don't know every detail of her life but this was a long time ago, before DNA tests, there was nothing about cancer in her family history or medical background and she didn't see any point in keeping organs that would have increased her cancer risk since she had no intention of making use of them. That is all I know about it.
