What a shoddy way to manage data.

With the number of hacks in the media these days, there is absolutely no excuse for hanging onto data for longer than you need it.

Sure, I understand individual records can't be deleted from backups, and after a few cycles (weeks, months, years?) they disappear. But in the main database? That's stupid.

The health act requires 10 year retention, in every PMS I've ever dealt with a patient moving on just gets flagged as inactive, almost never removed

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

All comment's I make are my own personal opinion and do not in any way, shape or form reflect the views of current or former employers unless specifically stated

Lightbulb:

Well...I've just changed my password (successfully)

At the same time I decided to set up 2FA - apparently successfully as the website says that 2FA is "Enabled"

Logged out and closed chrome browser and reopended browser and logged back in using new password - success, I'm in - but didn't have to put in 2FA codes

Tried on my Iphone - same thing.

Is 2FA working??

Do you think changing the pw is something we should all do?

@duckDecoy it's not going to hurt to change it.

Thanks for the post Mauricio.

Both my wife and my records were with ManageMyhealth but have been moved to
https://portal.myindici.co.nz/
last 2 years.

Still a concern as maybe records or remnants could still be at ManageMy health.

Actually, how do I get Kazu to provide me with all my test results for the last 5 years, as my health provider has opted to withhold those from their patients.

Unless it's changed very recently, every individual user needs to be registered manually and individually for MMH access.

You have the right to your information. Your health provider cannot withhold that from you. Is part of the privacy principles enshrined in law.

I just feel for the NCSC folks and Incident Response folks who have now had their NYE events cancelled.

I should clarify, they have opted to not make them available to patients/clients via the health portal.
