GeoffisPure: Has anyone here used shaving oils? I recently tried Somersets and was surprised at how well it worked. You just apply 3 small drops from the palm of your hand, leave on for 30 seconds and shave using a razor. There is a mild burning sensation but the hair basically falls off. I see no one has mentioned it here in this thread and am wondering if this method might be bad for your skin or something?
slliwgd: I'm trying to find out who retails Braun shavers here in NZ. The Braun NZ website is no help and the first 10 pages of Google don't help either. Anybody got any ideas.
Thanks.

Finch: Hi there.
I was wondering what people use to get a "smooth" shave. Currently I am using a Razor and foam (Both just cheap things from the supermarket, Gilette) and while it does the job, when I have finished shaving it still looks like there is hair on my face, but its smooth as silk. I have been told once by a make up artist that I am "Dark bearded" so maybe my skin is just like that naturally.
Anyway, what do you guys use to shave? I was looking at buying an electric shaver or maybe changing from a foam to a gel or something else? What is better? What gives you a smoother shave?
Thanks for the help :)
