bestbars seems like a good place, only thing is that they required me to register before telling me the price, that does kind of bug me

Best bars are the supplier for original accessories for Hyundai, Toyota etc

If you are totally custom making something, just use a piece of 50x50 steel box section to slide in to the reciever on the car instead.

Not that I agree with it, and if all you want to do is carry pushbikes strength won't be a problem, but I think that towbars need to be certified.

Good idea if I had a spare section of 50x50.....but not, got to be cheaper to go down to supercheap auto and buy the bit, and the make something up to fit in the hole the tow ball bolts to

Best bars build ezigrip bike racks. Incidentally some fit directly into the 2" hitch receiver like this one: on a retailers site

I bought one of the Ezi-Grip 4 bike prongs with the hitch instead of the towball fitting. Best bars wont sell directly but a retailer like torpedo7 will. They don't usually have them in stock, need to order in:
