AirNZ are now allowing small electronic devices switched to flight to be used during take off and landing on Q300s.

I assume there has been a regulatory change of some kind.

It's more that they've submitted certification to CAA for the type. This was announced last week by Air NZ for the ATR72, Q300 and B1900. The only aircraft in their fleet without certification is the 763.

Yep. Due to my job I tend to end up on the 767 more than other aircraft in the Air New Zealand fleet.

And yes, we all know @sbiddle changes his allegiances more often than he changes his bridge. 26 hours in 772 refit 3-4-3 will have him back loving the 763 in no time.

The A320, 787 and 777 changed in April 2014 so this has been the case for more than a year. You are correct Mike. Hugging flight attendants is frowned upon.

Woooh! Living in Palmy North means getting on those dam atr's a few times a week.
