Just bought a new car, previous owner has looked after it well, however I want to get it professionally cleaned and polished as I'm too lazy to do it myself.

Recommendations for a place in Auckland (close to central) would be awesome.

Athlonite: here ya go take ya pick

I've done a google search, wondering if anyone had recommendations, otherwise I'll just randomly pick one.

I had it groomed at the airport while I was on holiday. Job well done I think. Just do it when you're away next time.

They look to be pretty good from what I can gather (i'm an ex car Valet) and not to pricey for a full valet either

I will say don't get it done at a car wash or volume place if quality is your thing. Every decent detailer I've enquired with here has a policy of only booking one car per day per person, and spending easily 5+ hours hand washing, clay barring and hand drying the car. Obviously though, this comes at a cost - my most recent quote was $600aud (including GST)
