Lots of press in the last few days about Wave launching their e-scooters in Auckland.
That’s great, but why don’t they have an app in the Apple App Store?
How are you meant to find/hire one without an app??

Wave is simply a franchise type operation for Bird under their "Bird Platform" solution which they announced last year but only launched last month. NZ is the first go live market.

Effectively Bird supply the scooters at cost and taker a 20% cut of all fees while Wave are responsible for everything else.
