Exide battery manufacturer site automatically recommends a calcium battery for my vehicle. I'm not sure I believe it.

Existing battery is SLA and it's very likely as specified by the manufacturer.

Are there any issues to be concerned about? There was some discussion on charging voltages a while back.

Make, model, and year of vehicle?

Most of the batteries available are calcium now.

Thanks for that. Looked up the battery technical spec and it's not SLA. For some reason I expected to see CCA stickers all over it duh.

You are mixing a lot of terms. Sealed Lead Acid batteries can be both Lead Antimony or Lead Calcium. Lead Calcium apparently are cheaper to make so that is why Exide will be recommending them where possible. CCA is Cold Cranking Amps and also applies to both types.
