Sales in Japan start today. 3,390,200 yen (36k NZD). Two-tone paint an extra 104,500 yen (1,118 NZD).

NZ launch can’t be too far away. Any bets it’s going to be $39,990 + ORC?

Baby hatch, almost kei-car. I’d be worried for anyone driving this with rangers tailgating them.

Rangers will have a hard time catching one in traffic:

Personally, I'm not interested unless it comes with a treble siren system ; )

Edit: and highlights

It is listed as coming to Aotearoa. I guess that depends on Honda's future presence in the Australian and our market.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

4WD K-cars are reasonably common is Japan, partiality in the mountainous  and northern regions that get lots of winter snow...  When you have ice and snow covered roads for 4-6 months of the year, 4WD is an easy sell for a car manufacturer.. when combined with snow tyres, they are remarkably agile...

The 1000kg weight gives it impressive urban efficiency around 10.8 kWh charge per 100km. That beats any EV on the market today by a longshot. Imo it won't do so well in Auckland but potentially still much better than anything else because of the low weight.
