For Americans paranoid about handbag handguns - it's only bulletproof in terms of resisting a 9mm pistol bullet.  This might have something to do with the "WAF" of the truck - although if I brought one home, I expect I'd be got in some other serious way.

I'd rather have a lighter vehicle with more range so I can get away.

The tri motor does 0-100 in 2.9 seconds. Even the dual motor is 4.5s

That is pretty impressive -assuming the assassination attempt or drive by happens just after you charge it.  But my point is, what would the range be if they had been frugal with weight (except battery) when designing this beast?

I like change and I like the Cybertruck (as I said in my first post on this thread).  I'd simply prefer something lighter (among other things I beach launch boats with my 4x4) and the choice of materials is not very rationale in my view e.g. bullet proof glass.

you dont know if its heavier or not, you dont know how its constructed, or why yet you carry on commenting from a position of absolute ignorance. 

As for the glass they are making it initially for the semi because screen breakages are a cost, its also recommended in USA because truck drivers dont use seat belt and get thrown out of vehicles without laminated/ toughened windows.
