PaulBrislen: I find it really useful but wish they hadn't used red and green for all those colour blind folk.

I despise the Downtown mall carpark in Auckland. There does seem to be a major disconnect between the number of available spaces listed on each floor and the number of actually available spaces. I've driven around that damned place looking at each sign telling me there are x places available and been forced to leave and park elsewhere because the sign tells lies.

Not the worst carpark in Auckland - that prize has to go to the one behind the Copthorne Hotel. Avoid at all costs.

I agree on the signs nowhere near matching the lights - even the two entry signs show two different numbers for car parks available.

But, I thought that the Downtown car park WAS the one behind the Copthorne? - it is where I park every day.

Is that the Copthorne as well? I'm thinking of Anzac Ave, on the corner with Symonds Street. Poor signage meant I had to back UP the DOWN ramp to find a park in order to pay. Utterly shambolic - cars going in all directions.

Ahh, of course - two Copthornes...

I have not parked in the one on Anzac Ave, but there are some shockers around.

LOL

Same can be said about the traffic lights I suppose.
Those folk should not be on the road :-)

I know (hope?) you're being facetious, but with traffic lights the position of the light adds information.
