Are you able to fit 6x9 type speakers in the back tray?  Just remember your not allowed to cut out the rear metal tray anymore… you must you spacers if the hole isnt big enough.

I did and VTNZ had no issues.

Others haven't been so lucky - they've needed to get the modification certified.
All it takes is one WOF test guy in a zealous mood to notice, and you've got quite a major problem to deal with.

Probably getting OT as it sounds like the parcel tray isn't a valid option for this work vehicle. But using spacers, pods or a full custom tray angling the speakers towards the occupants will provide better sound anyhow.

If the parcel tray is metal then yes cutting is a no go.
