I used cheapoair last year for a return trip to New York . I performed due dilligence on them beforehand and found a few negative reviews (as you will with anything) but in the end booked with them. I flew Air NZ to sydney, Delta to LA and then NYC. Delta back to Sydney and Virgin back to Christchurch. All up it was a plesant enough experience, we got the whole thing for just over $2000 at the time which was a good $500 cheaper than anything else i could find (expedia, webject, direct through air nz and all the other major airlines). I agree if something were to go wrong it could have been a nightmare but in my case it went as expected and i would definitely consider using them again.
