Here's a BMW (I think a 525??) vs a Volvo at 60mph:



I think the ACC levies should definitely correspond to the ANCAP rating of the car, I'm really amazed that Mitsi is allowed to be sold here. I might be mistaken but I think the reason Daihatsu is no longer sold here is because their cars weren't keeping up with the safety requirements in NZ.

At the moment it's looking like I'm going to be spending the evening watching crash videos :)

Earlier model (1988 released e34 base model) 520 or 525 / not the (1994 released e38) 7 series. :D
