Ive had issues with some of the ones that claim to be brighter blowing pretty quickly, but just buying the standard narva at supercheap has been fine. I usually repace both at once since if I am going to the effort of going there and opening the bonnet then its not much more work to change the second one.

I run the Narva +50's.  Don't really have any issues with them blowing too often (though, having said that and now touching wood I'll probably blow one tonight).  Maybe one a year between two cars running them.

Well the car is in for a service tomorrow so they'll be giving the electrical system a going over .. took me 20 minutes to dismantle the car to replace the bulbs (so it's at least legal to drive!) and then another 20 minutes to take apart again to reconnect the indicators I'd forgotten about ;-)

I've had good runs with Narva bulbs.

I would check voltage at the headlight terminal as well as at the regulator.

There could be issues in between e.g. with a relay or connection.

Also check the headlights are securely fastened.

Got the car back from service, they could'nt find anything odd with the electrical system of the car, they said to chalk it up to a fluke but if it happens again get it back in.
