This has to be better than the Mobil Service station customer experience. I drive up, noone comes out to help, I press 'fill' ion the pump and put the nozzle into the fuel hole of the car, nothing happens. I press the button for help, and get a woman screaming down the the speaker saying 'YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT, I'M SERVING CUSTOMERS'. I put back the pump and go to another petrol station.
I don't go to Mobil because 99% around Wellingtoon are 24/7 Prepay. This means going inside, standing in a queue, telling them you want to fill up which causes all sorts of confusion and some still wanting to hold a card as a guarantee, go back outside, fill up, go back inside, join the queue and then pay for the petrol.
All of this is really just telling the customer they're a massive inconvenience and to go elsewhere. If you have a drive off problem put EFTPOS at pump at pump.
