Ive got 5x 152db train horns and the warrant people just think its hilarious. I do warn them not to test it indoors first to be fair to the guys in the pits.

mhm, yep. Your horn is definitely one that i always recall!

far more noticeable than the bike....

5 horns on a bike would be over the top. I used to have 2, 1 pointing forward in the usual place and the 2nd pointing sideways under the seat to wake up the drivers you were already alongside. Too loud and the chances are you'd be ignored while the car driver was trying to spot the truck.

You could set your horn 'loud' for alarm etc, switch to 'quiet' for other times...

About 3 years back Supercheap Auto had a sale on their air horn sets. Each had a little compressor, 30A relay and 2 horns.
I got 2 sets (at $20 or so ea) with different tones and installed the 4 horns between the rad & grille of our daily hack '01 subie.

The single wire which actuates the horn via a grounding plate in the steering wheel I split through a dash mounted switch.
Now one position selects the feeble factory 'beep' to say Hi to wife's friends in town, a more satisfactory blaat chases horses off the road or gets the kids out to the car for school.

The cheap horns still work well having survived 3 years of gravel road dust (& being underwater twice).
