I recommend removing the Check Engine bulb while you're at it to guarantee no more engine maintenance will be required for the life of the vehicle.
Hehe is that a go at the longevity of the H6 engine, too true. Ive seen them do well over 1mill kms. Never heard of a head gasket or broken chain, Im sure someone has done one. People say if you have a timing chain it never needs replacing, thats only true on tank engines like this and the Toyota landcruisers. The Mazda 2.0l in the 3, 6 and mx3 stretches due to bad tensioners, and clearly can skip one and thats the engine gone. So you do need to change the chain in them. Easy to tell though, if it rattles when 0-40kph, it pays to have it checked out.
