Looks good! How do you find the bike? Do you feel it's fast enough, and how do you find the noise of the Bosch motor? Does the sprung seat make any difference to comfort?
Would the bike be ok in the rain when the battery isn't in place? (Or just make sure this is avoided?)
Took it out for its maiden voyage this afternoon, 25km up and down the track next to the Hutt river in Silverstream. Had heaps of fun. Fairly stiff northerly, with the assist setting in the lowest or next one up was able to cruise into it at 20kph or so. With the tailwind could have easily switched it off but I was enjoying it too much cruising along at 25-30km/h. The assist is limited to 32km/h which is or was a legal thing I believe. Manage to get up to 38 at one stage.
Hard to tell if the seat spring help, I haven't ridden a bike for years to compare it against, my backside is feeling it a bit at the mo but I guess that's to be expected being out of practice.
Couldn't hear the motor at all, whereas Mrs. Floyd's Shimano one does put out a hum. The contacts are exposed when the battery is not installed so don't think I'd risk it, the way it slots in water could pool in there somewhat I think.
