I just checked our 2x car policies.  On our old Honda Accord Euro Tourer, under "Discounts Included" section with our AMI app, it states "No Claims Bonus of 60% freeBmax".

However, for the new car, it only states "No Claims Bonus of 60%".  I take it that freeBmax doesn't apply to the new car.

12 months with 60% of no claims bonus and you will qualify. Best of luck until then!

What car did you get in the end?

We ended up getting a Mini Cooper S.  Ordered the car towards end of June last year, it had to be custom built as we've customised it with various factory options, the car was finally built around Oct (due to Covid and with the factory being closed there was a huge backlog apparently), it was shipped from Europe probably around Nov and we've only just received it towards end of Feb.  So year a long wait for the car but worth it IMO...

OOoooo Cooper S are super fun cars, hope you enjoy it mate! I was driving a 2003 Subaru car and it's such a difference upgrading to a bigger 2021 CX-9 with all the latest technology gadgets.

Cars nowadays have colour screens in the dashboard and infotainment!

Yeah thanks!  Fingers crossed I won't need to use it yet, best if I don't need to use it ever... :)

Yeah thanks mate, already enjoy driving it - it really is a fun little car.  Technically the car is for the Mrs but I drive it quite a bit more LOL...  And yeah the infotainment is nice, we've added HUD (amongst other customisations) to it as well and that is pretty tool.  When we test drove the car in June it had the analogue dashboard, but when our car order went it we were told ours would come with the digital dashboard as per the Mini EV, I thought the digital dash is pretty cool but the Mrs prefer the old style analog one lol.

Hope you're enjoying your CX-9 too...
