shiver: Here are my wheels at the moment.
A bit heavy on the fuel and quite often gets me to work late, but
it's hard to beat the closeness you feel with the other smelly passengers.
Shiver has no car :(((
In the interests of doing my bit for the environment, I take the bus to and from work every day and I'm quite happy to put up with the smelly passengers if it means that I don't have to incur the cost of petrol, parking and maintenance. The other advantage is that I can drink myself into oblivion after work on Fridays and not have to worry about getting my car home!
I won't share my own wheels again because last time we had this discussion, everyone was making fun of it because it's a chick's car.
shiver: I actually dislike driving in traffic, so I don't mind the bus that much. However, the trip is about 1.5-2 hours one way.
Really saps the energy from you every day... so I'm looking to move closer to work :)
Still my ride, although now dark blue and a slightly different body kit after a stupid woman backed into it at supermarket

juha: Biking, motor or manual, not an option?
juha: - but riding a bicycle in Auckland at least requires strong nerves... people drive like they intend to kill you.
