Nope car. it's a feature of their car insurance. When I rang I was like this is too good to be true and I customer service guy was like yep. no reason not to claim.

That is what I said when I claimed i.e. we dont' know where they are so can't be sure who has them.

Hmm .. I wish there was an option similar to "No excess Glass Buyout".
Happy to pay a bit more to have "No excess Keys Buyout" for lost, misplaced, damaged or stolen keys upto a value. 

I have looked for this and cannot find any one that can do it so far unless I am missing someone fine prints.

That is what I said when I claimed i.e. we dont' know where they are so can't be sure who has them.

What kind of battery do they have in these fobs that last decades?  The remote for my '97 diamante is still going strong.
