joker97: Walkinshaw tune?
Shoes2468:KiwiNZ:joker97: Yes but it doesn't do a normal car any harm in the long run. Who cares if my Nissan 4 cylinder is dirty (91) or clean (95). Still a drab either way.
I think you get better range out of the higher octane.
only if your car is tuned to use higher octane is it worth it, if your car is not it's just money out the pipe. Higher octane does not equal more btu's
KiwiNZ: Do you guys have to use 98 or is it choice. Would 95 be sufficient?
Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.
OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!
geoffwnz: Remembering of course that you're only getting $1-$2 discount per tank with the 4c/l savings. Not huge on a per tank basis but you might save maybe $50-$100 per year if you are lucky.

Lots of JDM cars are designe to run on 100.
joker97: always put only $40 and save the discount until it just about matches the fuel price is the way to go.
