I'm assuming BP no longer have signage up telling you mobile phones are not permitted on the forecourt? (all other chains still do).

The app says don't use phone on forecourt. I.E. you use it in the car, then hop out and fill up.

Wow, you guys have some bad experiences. I never have any of those issues. 

 

I drive into my petrol station of choice, pick a pump or fuel type, press fill, and insert nozzle, make a waving motion toward the teller, and all of a sudden my fuel is pumping. I go inside, pick up items that give me a fuel discount if applicable, give a smile and thank them for starting the pump for me, and then pay and drive off. 

 

Maybe it helps I drive a nice car and usually am dressed in shirt and pants etc. 

 

I would imagine the app would fail to provide me my fuel discount, no?

nice to see BP doing some thing good for a change,would be nice if i could get this app on my phone but i get the message your device isn't compatible with this version.

i,m using a Samsung galaxy ace 3.

Seems region locked so cant access it currently (why they region lock something like this is beyond me)

Gave this a go today - pretty impressed with the implementation.

Noticed they've put a hold on my credit card for $120 which I assume will convert to the actual charge ($40ish) in a few days.

[edit: I have now opened the app and watched the FULL SCREEN ANIMATION THAT ADDS NOTHING TO THE EXPERIENCE. This is a bad start]

I got a hold on my account as well - I selected one of the lower amounts ($40) so it only held that much
