If there isn't enough yelling and swearing to mask it, Youtube will work it out and mute it while telling you off for copyright infringement anyways.

Depends on the track, some they will just take all your money from the ads, others will block it in some countries, and others will give you a strike without even offering to take money.

Best mute the audio yourself before uploading. I uploaded as private and then tried replacing the audio with the youtube editor and it still wanted to take monitization even tho there was only a tiny part of the orig audio because the youtube editor is so crap.

You can get away with enough that you can recognize the song without content id getting it, so if you unmute it around when you are swearing at other drivers etc you should be ok from content ID, but if it goes viral than expect them to manually try to claim it.

Reviewing some near misses I was surprised that the playback didn't seem as bad as it seemed at the time and at the amount of yelling and swearing. Note to self: use the horn earlier, better still get another horn that can be heard.

I miss my airhorns. But late model Hyundais still have a good toot. But I'm usually singing along to the radio or talking to myself so much its easier to just mute the track unless its got tyre skidding noises for effect :) Filtering out cursing is too hard.

The wide angle makes things look much furthur away when viewed on a small screen. Makes near misses look quite reasonable.

That is a big bugbear. You need the width to catch crazies off to the side, but at the same time you miss near misses (like the back trailer of a btrain that nearly wiped me out this morning changing lanes) right infront of you and can't catch people doing mental lane changes causing others to need to brake ahead of you (or suicidal motorbikes)

It looks like the one I got a while back that is a piece of trash, interpolated and close to no light sensitiivty.

Also are about half that price on aliexpress, or for a little more you can get something much better that is actually 1080.

I think the cheapies are pretty much 'daytime' only?

I got one a few months back (free loyalty thing) from a Hong Kong supplier, and used it to film the result of continual rain on local hillside ... must check it for night usage tongue-out
