My hours of work during the week do not allow me to get to the dealer during their business hours
They suggested an evening, I said what time I can be there and they switched back to Saturday

Next week it would have been no problem for me to get there during the week, but not this week sadly.

After the longest week in my life, I finally picked up the car

Sadly my planned drive to get used to the new car never happened

Maybe this weekend

Nice colour! (My 6 is in the same blue reflex).

BTW, what did you pay for it and what's the kms on it? (apologies if this was mentioned earlier in the thread). The current GLX seems to be coming down to ok prices either s/h or for demo models - enough so that I may be able to convince my father to go with one of these rather than a Jazz, which he seemed keen on buying having driven one yesterday).

It had 7020 km on the clock after my test drive and is what it had on it when I picked it up
Paid $28000 for it, so $5500 ish saving from new and didn't have to pay on road cost.

2 years, 3 months left on the warranty and servicing, though I notice that 2015 models now get 5 years ..

That's a good deal; similarly, I bought my 6 when it was just under a year old, so still had two years of warranty/servicing to run. Good warranties and covering servicing costs means it's now a no-brainer buying late-model cars second-hand or as demo models, whether it be from a dealer or privately.

The five years, I believe, covers roadside assistance and warranty - the servicing is still limited to three years (still a good feature though).

I assume I get the balance of roadside assistance, but I didn't check and the adverts don't mention it
I need to register the car with Mazda though

Worth checking - Mitsubishi's only covered the original purchaser for some parts of the warranty (if I read the manual on my 2nd hand one correctly).

Driven the car a few times this week, and one issue I have is something I expected but hoped wouldn't be an issue.
Back in 2012 starting at a new sitting down all day job I managed to weaken the majority of my right arm, back and leg muscles - it took a few years to sort out but as long as I do certain things each day it hasn't been a problem.

Until now .. almost instantly my right shoulder got sore which in turns flows down the rest of my back and into my legs.
While I can manage the leg/back side of things my arm/neck is not being co-operative

Hopefully I can sort out the seat position over the weekend - I think I have it almost right but until the soreness disappears I won't fully know
