Took car on first real road trip, Mosgiel to Christchurch (365km), then 150km of city driving and then back to Timaru before filling up (660km)
39.24 litres put in, resulting in 6.0 litres per 100km.

Which I was pretty satisfied with.

I had a "range" of 103km left when I fill up in Timaru and probably could of gotten to Oamaru with no real dramas but didn't want to test my luck with 'running it dry' because I didn't have any spare petrol with me

I have an older Axela MPS (2007). I'm happy if I go under 10L/100km

Easy to do on long trips (does about 8.7-9.0), around town, and on the motorway stop start commute it goes up to about 10.

I do like to plant the boot when I can though, and I'm not too worried about the thirst :) Love the car though.
