It doesn't look great, can hardly make out any number plates or signs (unless they are very close). Not very wide pov either. And is your windscreen filthy?

yes my windscreen was not that clean,  had some dry water spots after rain...

Honestly though, most of the time you're after anything that will record and be an impartial witness.

 

A potato video quality for $50 is better than an hour or three spent arguing with your insurance company over who is at fault.

 

Case and point - I was hit when I pulled into a dual carriageway, which then merged into a single.

 

The lady 'merged' straight into the right hand lane, hit my rear left.

 

She swore I pulled in front of her, and was prepared to argue black and blue.

 

Uploaded my video taken from my mobile running DailyRoads Voyager android app to the Insurance, they called back 15 minutes later to say everything had been taken care of and to drop the car off at a variety of locations to get it assessed.
