Just received an email from AA Smartfuel saying they are taking their min spend off so you can get the discount regardless of spend, but you still have to spend $40 to accumulate.

 

Guessing Mobil Smiles will announce the same thing soon?

 

I'm surprised it took them so long. Z scrapped that earlier in the year and with Caltex moving to Pumped and removing the requirement it did leave them in a bit of an anticompetitive spot.

It really just emphasises that the 6c is just basically an automatic discount that is factored into the pump price.
