Good price if only it wasn't Seagate it would be worth buying but for me even half that price I wouldn't buy it for my own use.  Thanks for the tip though.

They are $129 now, which is what I get for delaying buying.

Nyway, will ship to NZ and a quick check of the price and exchange rate and it will hopefully just sneak in under $400 for 2 of them, but even if I have to pay the $60something that they took as a deposit for the drives its still way cheaper than NZ pricing. And the last seagate I got from the US came with a whole lot of international plugs and the adapter had all the approvals for AU/NZ on it too.

Its just a deposit. You get it back. Absurd I know but they do that on anything getting near $400 because I guess they dont want to risk being stuck with them.
