might as well wait for a couple of months as the new nexus range will be out September/October.

Nexus 5 still retails for around $500, pbtech seems to have them in stock.

They are so difficult to buy now.  The last good deal I saw on them was WHS who for the new years sale sold them for $299 including a wireless charging matt - crazy cheap!

This is true. They are all about that price online. Hopefully I can find a good second hand one for the right price as I don't really want to spend $500 on a phone.

I got my hopes up when I searched google, WHS still have a page listing them for $399, but they actually don't have them any more.

I wouldn't buy a 2nd hand one - they all seem to be failing.

I just had the power button die on mine (an incredibly common issue) and Google don't have anything to replace them with under warranty. I ended up getting a full refund.

What happened to your Huawei? Was it the Honor 6?

I didn't like it. I just prefer pure android and quicker updates. Failing that, something with a good dev community would be fine. The Honor 6 doesn't have anyone seriously working on it even though it is a powerhouse with an unlockable bootloader. I was torn between a second hand Nexus 5 or a new Moto G 2015 16GB. Going off sbiddle's comment above and a subsequent Google Search, I will likely just play the waiting game for the Moto G now.

What??? I didn't see notification of this in the bargain and deals thread where all bargains like this MUST be placed...

(I may have missed it).

Willing to buy mine?

It survived a car roof top drop thanks to the cover. No visible damage. 8GB internal storage is a bit limiting for me.

PS $299, no wireless charging mat. money-mouth

Got to be minimum 16GB sorry, I didn't even know they made an 8GB version of the Nexus 5. After SBiddles comment and some further investigation, I am not sure I should be looking at a second hand one any more.
