I just got an email from EB Riccarton advising of this sale tonight. Anyone know if it's actually any good or are their prices still piss takingly shyte? I mean $110 for a pre-owned Fallout 4? I'll have whatever they're smoking please.

Idiots.

I was wondering the same myself. If someone gets there early please post some details... Not really tempted enough to pop in without an idea of what's on offer

Last time I was in one, it would take a massive discount on the accessories to make them worthwhile. Is it something that is just on, or do you need an invite or some BS to get cheaper prices?

The email doesn't list any special requirements, when I purchase they usually ask for my details so it gets logged against my EB games account.

Haven't been to VIP night before. Not sure if they'll be asking for your details, but at the same time I doubt they will turn away a sale if you're not signed up?

EB goes right up there with briscoes, SALE SALE SALE!

i cant recall the last time i walked into an EB without seeing a sales sign.....

Obviously they have to go out of their way to add VIP in there where most stores would simply say, we are having a sale ;)

ild doubt its worth attending.....

Yeah I stopped off briefly on the way out of the movies at St Lukes, and didn't see anything too impressive. Didn't stay long enough to compare or anything, just didn't get the feeling it was really cheap.

Trademe and Facebook are the gateway to all the cheap PS3 games you need

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
