Excellent price - https://www.amazon.com/Steam-Link-Pc/dp/B016XBGWAQ

Steam are also having the sale, but since it's not available in NZ I think the cheapest way to get is through Amazon.

In their sale you can get the Steam Link and controller for $35, but I can't see that price available on Amazon.

Considering i normally play at 1ms 144hz and any perceivable lag beyond that drives me insane in a matter of seconds.... Picky i know ;)

Thanks - picked one up to try - and told my friends.

Works out at about NZ$45 delivered for the link alone - I believe the xbox controller will work with it :)

Everything works wired, IIRC, but for wireless, you gotta use the USB dongle for 360 pads, bluetooth for Xbox One pads, or VirtualHere and the Xbox One dongle, and Dualshock 3 and 4s work over bluetooth.

Super tempted to grab one myself, but I just can't quite justify it for the lounge.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
