Yes, the battery alone is worth a small fortune.
Price beat it at Bunnings.

This product is already being covered the Black Friday deals thread below. Yes it is a very good product and so is the price however if you are quick to go down to your local Bunnings who are still hopefully selling the same product for $345, you can get them to beat Mitre 10's price of $299 by further 15%. I bought same set today morning from Bunnings for $254.

The battery, 1. You should factor in the cost of another battery, maybe a smaller lighter one so you can use both tools and have a choice if working in a tight space.

I would second this you really want two batteries, I have a similar set and the second battery is very useful.

Went down to Bunnings just now and they have just changed the price to $295. I suspect too many people wanting a price match -15%.
Got one anyway at $295.

I should have gone to Mitre 10 for a price match -15%...Doh!
FYI

That battery is stupid weight for the flex volt, I suspect they want to get people into the flex volt system cheaply since all the good tools need the 54/60v pack like their awesome angle grinder.

Once you have this you can get the tools off amazon for much cheaper ;) perhaps today since its the end of no GST?
