Retails for $199, on sale at Noel Leeming until 25 Aug for $179 but if you go to Mitre 10 Mega, they will price match and give 15% discount which brings it down to $153. Picked one up earlier. Bargain.

Are they doing click and collect in Auckland?

Edit: Yes they do. But they aren't doing price matches for online orders. https://www.mitre10.co.nz/covid-19-update

Appreciated.  Going to grab one asap.  I got a smart panel heater recently and I am now annoyed that I can't schedule the heat pump to come on and off.

I think most places you can just talk to a salesman to get a discount even things are not on special... I got mine 2 years ago in Harvey Norman $300 for 2 unit after a few minutes arguing with a salesman...

I am happy to be that argue with the sales person person.  Nobody understands the art of haggling in NZ.

No haggling required for this one though.  I rocked into miter 10 mega this morning.  Got the price match.  The sales person then said did I want to scan airpoints card.  I said sure but airpoints are useless due to covid.

Apparently you can spend your airpoints at miter 10 mega!  I had a balance of $60 odd so I used those and walked out with a wifi controller for my heat pump for $91.

Thanks for posting this @GSManiac

Yep - more info here, must be $75 purchase or more etc

(I previously did some work with mitre 10, really good people there)

I purchased one of these a few weeks ago for the office and love it. I've got an A/C unit from the dark ages which is now modernised.
