reven: just setup an US PSN account, buy $50 voucher from amazon, redeem $50 voucher to US account, buy game for USD$50 from psn.  sure if you want a disc, you can't but, USD$60 for a new AAA game is a lot better than local NZD$108 or whatever prices they are charging.

Umm, how is this contributing to the topic? The discussion here is about TLOU being at a special deal - which is a rare occassion. Granted that your suggestion will be great for many AAA titles but that's beside the point of this topic.

errr USD$50 is less than NZD$75 for the same game.

chiefie: How much will they match? Seeing that it's $75 and I can get to it and grab it, I opted for that option in the end, rather than asking for price match, order, then wait.

I'm not sure how much they'll match. I already had a preorder with MA so naturally I don't want to grab a second copy at retail :)

Ah I see, just price-match to get the same price whilst waiting for it to be delivered?

That's the plan. MA has agreed to price match, now I'm just waiting to see whether that price can be applied to my order retroactively. I'll post back once I find out.

Fingers crossed. Generally they're pretty good at it to ensure customer's satisfaction.
