First link gave me a voucher to use at Event. Either book online or rock on up and use it at the counter apparently.

HotDogBreath: It's to do with the agreements they have with the different movie theaters. I.e., Event Vs. independents. I believe that with independents you will need to have a printed ticket where as with Event you can show the ticket info on your mobile phone.

yup, says independant cinema tickets will be posted, Event ones are "e-Tickets" with a code and pin "show at the desk or book online"

maybe they limited by Cinema too?

try pick another Cinema and see what happens... seems the account validation is off (as reported above) so try use a prepay number and see if it works elsewhere>

Thanks :) I tried the Embassy Wellington and that worked so I have the feeling they may be limited by cinema maybe. I have to travel a little further, but hey its a FREE movie ticket! :)

Do you think that these could be used at 'No Free Ticket' showings? I figure they can but not 100% sure...?

it can definitely be used when booking online as a friend just booked Expendables 3. I am sure over the counter will be fine as well as it's not a Free Ticket. Spark paid for it.
