Jizah:
kiwitrc: Looks like it wont take long for HP to get their money back, read the cost to print http://www.digitalversus.com/printer/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m277dw-p25577/test.html

Whoa, that's terrible.

If you're a low volume printer, it's probably fine. Have sent this deal to my parents who have in the past spent a small fortune on inkjet cartridges which when not used often seem to deplete themselves through regular 'cleaning cycles'. Even at a high cost per page, the very low cost of the device will still likely benefit them.

arvis: Can anyone confirm that these toners will work? I can't find any other toners for the printer, but official ones. And the source of info please :-)

CF210A (Black):1600 pages

CF211A (Cyan):1800 pages

CF212A (Yellow):1800 pages

CF213A (Magenta):1800 pages

CF210X (Extra High Yield Black):2400 pages

Datasheet of the 277 printer : http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=4AA5-7085EEP

Can check with these sellers about getting cheaper compatible inks

Thank you Hutakillaz. This  would be all great, but the data sheet says that compatible black one is HP 201X, not cf213a.

There seems to be no other toners for this one but HP original ones, which cost 130+ per cartridge. So, you're looking at spending another $500-600 after you print the 700 pages. Maybe not so good deal after all. Unless someone has reliable information about compatible toners.

When I was pringing lots of packing sheets, just drilled a hole in the cart and filled it with random any brand refill toner that we could get. Saturated colours were fine still, some were a little weak but for documents and a logo it was fine with anything in it. If you are expecting photo accuracy then a consumer laser printer isnt for you.

Isn't printer toner hazardous to lung health? Drilling cartridges sounds Darwinian.

Standard process for refilling them. Refill kits tell you where to drill and give a bung to block the hole. Just a matter of putting the bottle nozzle in and tipping it. Do it outside and minimal if any spill doesn't matter.

My last brother printer managed to drop a crap load of toner out the bottom of it. Way more than I ever lost in a filling.

I sent the Order Processed email, but got a response from HP saying: "Order confirmation with missing product details was uploaded instead of the invoice.  Please email the invoice and quote your reference number."

Any idea what they are looking for?

Unfortunately my receipt has gone out with the rubbish. It's frustrating, as I usually keep them all. I've emailed Noel Leeming for a copy of the invoice, hopefully it comes through tomorrow!
