Stereo? Or just both connected at the same time playing the same mono sound?

UE Boom can connect two in stereo or in mono... your choice.

Yes you have the choice via the app, but how do you tell the two units whether you want stereo or mono without the app to control how audio is sent to each unit?

I'm not sure because I haven't done it in a while but I think it connects the same way it did the previous time.  So you would have to use the app to set it initially.

You would have to test this though.

The stereo functionality was the reason why I purchased a second one; I'm just not the biggest fan of music originating from a single point.

It's just a selection in the app (for both UE Boom and Megaboom, just not if you've got one of each); just click on Double Up in the bottom left-hand corner of the initial screen.

Connecting the two together (whether in stereo or mono) can be a bit hit-and-miss the first time, but once done initially they connect immediately.

Will have a look next time I'm on a laptop. Cheers!

Anyway, just a little off topic so let's get back on track ;-)

It appears to remember it from the initial setting; mine always start playing in stereo when connected as as pair.

Woooh! Was literally driving to dick Smith to buy a pair of these. Flicking through geekzone while waiting in traffic and see this! Prompted purchased a pair and headed back home. I guess that pays my geekzone sub for the next few years Haha.

What are people seeing for delivery times? I got them sent to the hotel I'm in this week (christchurch) so hoping it's sort of next day type shipping.

Yes a well timed offer indeed! I took the Clock and Collect option and they were ready for collection in less than an hour.

Used my QC25 in anger for the first time today on the train and on my morning walk around the streets  of Wellington.  Wow, just wow!
Ummed and ahrrred in the past,,.couldn't justify the money...now it's one of those "I don't know why I didn't buy one years ago" type things.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Yep. I have been using a Blackbox for years - these are now going to wife - but the Sony ones feel just a bit more "solid".

So I hinted to my better half that a pair of these would be a good birthday or Xmas present for me.  She placed an order just before lunch time on Wednesday.

When I got home that evening, she told me that DSE called her to say that they were cancelling her order and refunding the payment due to the QC25's selling out.  I checked the DSE site later that night and they were still showing as in stock but I assumed they were just slow off the mark.

Fast forward to Thursday morning when I decided to check the site again.  They were back to full price and in stock at most of the stores around my location.  I wasn't impressed so started keying a strongly worded email to DSE asking why her order was cancelled yet they were in stock at full price the very next morning.  I waited for her to call back before I hit send so I could include the order number, only to be told that I had ruined the surprise as she wanted me to think I wasn't getting them after all.  Whoops!
