Withings scales, activity trackers on Amazon. I personally use the Withings Activite (not the Pop or Steel, so not discounted) and it's brilliant - a watch/activity tracker.

Just picked up a Steel for $NZ115 inc freight following your link. Cheers

Samsung 850 Evo 500GB SSD + Watchdogs 2 download code - $200.74 NZD delivered - Choice Cheapies

I think those prices are without using the Choice Cheapies referral codes. The Watchdogs 2 code is listed on the SSD product page, have a read of Choice Cheapies for info regarding redemption.

Great, got it thanks. FYI you need a VPN to redeem the code for the game as it seems geolocked.

IME you have to be very very unlucky for multiple purchases to be hit with duty. Its only people I know that have been dumb and had sellers split into 2 boxes and then go and send them on the same day that have been caught out.

I have only been caught when the dollar really tanked and I had no idea it was as bad as it was and something that I thought was going to be $380-390 came in over 400.

If they are from different places, you should be fine. If they are to different people, you should be fine. If they are to 3 different people at the same address on the same day from the same place, your milage may vary.

Just to add - If your items are coming in via an international postal carrier, these hit the international mail centre which has a dedicated duty/GST collection team. But due to the volume of incoming mail, it's (obviously) a randomised checking process. So law of probability comes into play. Except you wont know the odds.

If your items are coming in on a courier service (ala FedEx, DHL, UPS), they (are supposed to) enforce the collection of duty & GST on behalf of Customs. Because of the different import process they follow and the way they are required to submit information, they can ping you much easier and consistently than what the Intl Mail Centre can. This has in the past been pretty inconsistent and they haven't really cared about it, but Customs have been cracking down on them.

Bought one, wife not that happy, thinks it's a waste of money, but will play with it, and if I don't like it, probably sell on TM for what I paid for it anyways!

Tried to order an Amazon echo dot, but they wont ship to NZ address (from Amazon.com) - how do you order from amazon.com to NZ?  Do you need to use a fowarder?

Well this is for internet security freaks or cord cutters & streamers like me :p (perhaps you all know the purpose of having a vpn).

I found some good Black Friday vpn annual deals:

  • PureVPN$59 for 24 months of VPN
  • VyprVPN$75 for 12 months of VPN
  • ExpressVPN$99 for 12 months of VPN + 3 months free

A bit pricey but then you know the kind of service you will get. I know there are other cheap VPNs as well but this is strictly for the streamers & internet security freaks.
