I was so going to get a MX master, but if there's one thing I'm good at its prevarication.

Interesting though, was watching the branch stock and the Auckland branches all dropped during the day but I saw that Hamilton had 10 all day and Tauranga had 10 all day, then as soon as the shops close ALL the shops are empty.

I was very tempted to get the MX Master given the price and the PC Tech sale but decided against it at the end.

A couple of years ago I have had a bad episode of Logitech wireless mouse interfere with the WiFi router causing some really strange problems. My WiFi router is sitting very close to there PC as there is where the VDSL jack is. At the end I had to switch to a wired Logitech Gaming Mouse and all problems went away.

May be it was just bad luck with the type of WiFi router that I had but with most wireless devices operating on 2.4GHz, it is hard to avoid interference.

(Someone had to say it)

24 years is a long time for a sale.

Whereas 24 hours is a long time without a sale for the likes of Briscoes...

MX Masters apparently back in stock (in non-black), if they ever left, if you can get to an actual shop.

They've sold out online for the XBox One S 500GB but I went into my local Noel Leemings and they price matched. Very happy with that.

What is longer term support of Smart Hub like now?

My experience (with an early Smart Hub BD player) was atrocious.  Within a year the OS was bloated and crippled by compulsory updates and content providers had recalled their apps within 2 years.

Personally, I would not be bother with Smart Hub/Smart TV. TV manufecturers pay lip service to service or they simply do not have the economy of scale. Go with Apple TV or Chromecast and you will get much better long term support.

My 4 years old IPad is still receiving the latest IOS whereas the mid range Samsung phone stops receiving update only after 1 year.

This is why I didn't buy the SGS 8 and instead bought a Huawei P10. Maybe the Huawei won't get updated any better.....but the camera is much better and the price a lot less.

The 24 year sale that was on for 4 days IIRC? Long gone.

24 sale is long gone. However PBtech has lots of specials (some not so special ) every week. Pay to check their web site regularly.

False advertising saying it was a 24 year sale. I would complain.

I think they meant that they have been trading 24 years. (Lost in translation)
